Random Cancun Pictures


This windmill is like the one erected outside the meeting space when we were at last year's climate summit in Copenhagen. We assume that it's not connected to anything.


Here are three Sierra Club activists experiencing a night with locals in Cancun City -- as opposed to the hotel zone. Director Larry Fahn, Virginia chapter leaders Glen Besa and Tyla Matteson.


This is the daily meeting of Climate Action Network, the coalition of NGOs, 400 attendees total, working to influence the negotiators.



Here's a small example of the kind of military force that surrounds these events. They don't welcome photographs.
