What's the Deal With Natural Gas?

In a segment that aired last night on CBS' "60 Minutes," Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune highlighted the Sierra Club's strong position on natural gas.

Check it out:

The Sierra Club is working to make sure natural gas companies are subject to additional scrutiny and strong national and state regulations that protect our air, water, and communities.

As the U.S. moves to a clean energy future, the Sierra Club is generally not opposed to continued production from existing gas fields, but it must be subject to much stronger national and state standards that protect the environment, human health, safety and communities.
