Lions, Grizzlies, and Attenborough on BBC Earth

Lion What's your typical lazy Sunday like? How about watching five straight hours of amazing footage of wildlife and natural history on BBC America presented by Planet Earth star Sir David Attenborough?

Whether or not nature programs and the BBC are part of your typical TV week, you're in for another stimulating experience from this dynamic partnership. On Sept. 20, BBC America will debut BBC Earth, the station’s new global brand for all-natural-history content, presenting a block of five documentaries showcasing wildlife and natural wonders from around the world.

The Great Natural Wonders of the World kicks off the block, with Attenborough traveling all seven continents revealing and reveling in Earth’s wonders, followed by the Greatest Wildlife Show on Earth, The Life of Mammals, a look at 4,000 diverse mammals, Grizzly, an in-depth examination of the North American brown bear, and Lion, which uses advanced camerawork (think buried periscopes and night-vision technology) to enter a lion’s den.
