Earth Day Activities: Join the Crowd

Join a rally in washington dc Thursday, April 22 marks the 40th anniversary of Earth Day and the environmental movement is stronger than ever. April is a great time to enjoy the social nature of Earth Day celebrations, so this week's tips will focus on group activities. 

Tip #2: Attend a Rally

Show your support for climate legislation by participating in the Earth Day Climate Rally on April 25 in Washington, D.C. Free buses from nine East Coast cities will transport participants to the gathering at the National Mall. If you can't attend the rally, consider organizing or joining a local event like an Earth-themed flash mob.
