Pitbull Art Campaign Hopes To Save Man's Best Friend

PitbullArtists all over the country are rooting for the underdogs – pitbulls, that is. The pups, who get a bad rap due to their reputation of ferocity, are being saved with brushstrokes and bit of imagination. Art for Pitties, a project that brings together painters, graphic designers, and filmmakers, hopes to save these misunderstood dogs while celebrating them too.

Throughout July, artists are being called upon to create original pieces on tote bags to be auctioned off in mid-August. Artists can also donate other original works to the cause. The proceeds will benefit Even Chance, a pitbull advocacy and rescue group that works on behalf of these lovable dogs.
