Green Fashion Monday: A Hemp Wrap Dress

Mountains to the moon hemp dress On Fashion Monday, we highlight a hip, green fashion item. Got a stylish eco-friendly product to recommend? Tell us about it and look for it in an upcoming blog post.

To celebrate Hemp History Week, we're turning our fashion focus to this hearty, sustainable, and commonly misunderstood plant. Hemp can't get you high, but it can be used to make an impressive variety of food products, paper, and clothing.

The Audrey "Wrap" Dress ($92) from Mountains of the Moon is made in America from a blend of hemp and organic cotton. The classic style and flattering cut make this eco-version of the "little black dress" a wise investment. The Chicago-based fashion label uses low-impact dyes, sustainable fabrics, and reused or cradle-to-cradle packing materials.
