For some outdoor adventurers, nothing beats a thrilling, death-defying interaction with nature. This week, we'll show you extreme feats from the outdoor sporting world — at least the ones that were captured on film.

Kayaking the White Nile  

While you may be more at ease navigating the Class I or Class II rapids on your local river, Uganda's White Nile attracts insane river rats from around the world who boldly ride out its Class V surges. Outside magazine calls one section near Lake Victoria "the best whitewater in the world."
