Get Thee to 'An Inconvenient Truth'

Nuninconvenienttruth

Sister Catherine Marie Lauterwasser introduces "An Inconvenient Truth," Al Gore’s film on global warming, at Mount St. Joseph Ursuline Center outside Owensboro, Kentucky, on December 7. The screening was part of an Energy Film Festival in the Owensboro area organized by Sierra Club Midwest Representative Aloma Dew and the local Unitarian Universalist Church. Dew was also a featured speaker about smart energy solutions on a local cable TV show that aired more than 50 times the week of the film festival. Sierra Club Productions has secured the rights to a number of films to be used Clubwide as an Energy Film Festival through local educational and outreach screening events. Nearly 150 hosts have already signed up, more than 25 events have taken place, and many more are scheduled for January. Learn more.
